When I first started doing research on how to care for Brock I didn’t find much from an owners perspective. Nothing that didn’t end in some miracle recovery complete with videos of dogs looking perfectly normal playing fetch and chasing kids. When you hear your dog might not walk again the last thing you want to see is how it worked out for someone else. I found tons of medical sites with useful information, but I wanted to see how a regular person like me did it.

This page is about us, me and Brock. Our story before and after his stroke. It’s a way for me capture his recovery and for readers to learn about the dog he used to be. I want to share our path of how I’m fumbling through caring for him, and how he continues taking care of me.

My hope with this is not just to give my friends and family a way to see how Brock’s doing, but maybe someone else that finds themselves in my situation can benefit.
